Tasmania 2014
We are just returned from a wonderful trip to Tasmania. We started our trip at the Cygnet Folk Festival where we met up and performed to friends old and new and had an all round fun time. A special thanks to our hosts David & Anne for opening their house to our use while we were in Cygnet.
We stayed on in Tasmania for a wee road trip and spent more time eating great food and playing music with dear friends in Hobart before hitting the road proper to see the beautiful sights of the Island’s West Coast. We were both sorry to say farewell, but we look forward to a return trip in the future to catch up, play music and see more of the wonderful Island State.
Happy New Year!
Wishing all our families, friends, fans and supporters a Happy New Year and all the best for 2014.
We had a lovely Hogmanay playing at a private ceilidh as a three-piece line up of The Ceilidh Clan and “seeing in the bells”, on the way home, sitting in our van watching the fireworks over the City of Brisbane. Here’s hoping that you had a guid one yourselves.
Looking forward to seeing you around the traps in the coming year.

I’ve Got a Heart – Mark Cryle Retrospective
We are very honoured to have been asked to join a group of talented friends to record a retrospective album of songs by local singer songwriter Mark Cryle, “I’ve Got a Heart”, which will be launched at a ‘Folk Night Extravaganza’ in Sandgate on the 6th July. Mark is well-known around the country for his stories in song and we look forward to playing alongside him and all the other special guests at Music By The Sea.
